El Real Elbow Macaroni Mac & Cheese with Truffle Oil

Your guests will be scraping their plates clean!

Ingredients:

  • 250g EL REAL ELBOW MACARONI
  • 2 bars - 185g each Quickmelt cheese (grated)
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1⁄2 cup finely chopped mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp truffle oil

NOTE: If you prefer, use 1 tsp sesame oil instead of truffle oil (Asian style)

Procedure:

  1. Cook EL REAL ELBOW MACARONI according to package directions. Drain under faucet water and submerge it in boiling water when ready to serve.

  2. Mix milk, salt and pepper in a deep soup pan. When shimmering, turn off heat and add the cheese. 

  3. When melted, toss the cheese in the hot macaroni then drizzle with truffle oil or sesame oil.

  4. Prepare 8 ramekins with 1 cup capacity. Pour over the macaroni. Drizzle again with few drops of truffle oil or sesame oil.

  5. Garnish each with a sprig of parsley and serve right away.
